The Kitchen Shelter

This shelter has three rooms opening onto a corridor.

Although some partitions are made of bricks, the whole is however covered with a thick concrete slab. The construction is equipped with a coal bunker, a room with a coal stove, a room for officers’ meals and rooms for storing food with shelves placed on the floor and fixed on the walls to preserve food.

The presence of more than fifty men permanently on the site explains the presence of a kitchen shelter.
